Booking and Cancellation

This policy explains how bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations work when engaging Sinew Media. Our goal is to plan efficiently, respect your time, and deliver consistently strong work.

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed when:

  • A date and time are agreed upon, and

  • A deposit or payment method is provided, and

  • A booking form or agreement has been approved

Tentative holds without deposit are not guaranteed.

2. Scheduling and Arrival

Clients are responsible for ensuring the property or location is accessible and ready at the scheduled time.

If entry is delayed or the space is not ready, additional fees or rescheduling may apply.

Standard arrival window: within 15 minutes of scheduled time

3. Property Readiness

The shoot location must be prepared before our team arrives. This includes cleaning, staging, and removing personal items when appropriate.

If the space is not shoot-ready, we may:

  • Proceed and shoot as-is, or

  • Reschedule the session for an additional fee, or

  • Extend time on-site if available, billed accordingly

4. Rescheduling

We understand plans change. Rescheduling requests must be made at least:

  • 24 hours before residential real estate bookings

  • 72 hours before commercial, editorial, or multi-location projects

Requests made later than the required notice period may incur fees.

Weather-related rescheduling will be accommodated reasonably.

5. Cancellations

Cancellation fees protect booked time, planning, and prep work already performed.

Cancellation terms:

  • More than 24 hours before: No fee

  • Less than 24 hours: 50% of booking fee

  • Same-day cancellation or no-show: 100% of booking fee

For commercial projects: deposits are non-refundable once pre-production or scheduling has begun.

6. Late Client Arrival

If the client or property is not available at the scheduled start time:

  • Time will be deducted from the shoot, or

  • Additional time may be billed at our hourly rate

After 30 minutes, the session may be marked as cancelled and subject to same-day cancellation fees.

7. Weather and Safety

We may reschedule at no charge if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for the shoot. This includes heavy rain, hazardous access conditions, or compromised equipment safety.

Reasonable weather delays or substitutions (such as interior-only shooting) may be offered.

8. Booking Adjustments

Changes to shoot scope (shot list, locations, add-ons) must be confirmed in advance. Additional services may require rescheduling or additional fees.
