Liability and On-Site Safety

This policy outlines responsibilities and safety expectations during on-site production. It exists to protect clients, property, talent, and our team while ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
By booking with Sinew Media, you agree to the terms below.
1. Client Responsibility for Site Conditions
Clients must ensure:
Safe and lawful access to the property
The location is secure and suitable for filming and photography
All areas to be captured are safe and unobstructed
Any hazards are disclosed in advance
We reserve the right to refuse access or stop work if conditions are unsafe.
2. Property Access and Permissions
Clients are responsible for acquiring all necessary permissions, including:
Property access authorization
HOA or building management approvals, if relevant
Permits for public or restricted locations
If access is denied or delayed due to missing permissions, rescheduling fees may apply.
3. Conduct on Location
Our team will conduct themselves professionally. We do not tolerate:
Harassment or aggressive behavior
Unsafe demands
Interference with equipment or crew
If conduct from anyone on-site compromises safety or professionalism, we may pause or stop production. Fees still apply for time worked.
4. Equipment and Property Protection
We take care to avoid damage. However:
The client is responsible for the site environment and any hazards
The client must protect delicate surfaces and belongings before we arrive
We are not liable for pre-existing damage
Any Sinew Media equipment damaged due to negligence or unsafe conditions may be billed to the client.
5. Working Areas and Staging
Crew may move lightweight objects (chairs, small decor) to stage shots unless instructed otherwise.
We do not:
Move large furniture
Disconnect appliances
Handle personal or fragile valuables
6. Children, Pets, and Bystanders
For safety reasons:
Children and pets must be supervised
Individuals not involved in the shoot should avoid equipment areas
We are not responsible for injuries caused by contact with equipment when individuals ignore safety boundaries.
7. Weather and Outdoor Conditions
If environmental conditions create a risk to people or equipment, we may:
Adjust the shoot plan
Limit outdoor work
Reschedule if necessary
Weather-related reshoots follow our standard scheduling policy unless otherwise agreed.
8. Drone Operations (if applicable)
Drone work follows aviation laws and safety protocols. We may decline flights due to:
Restricted zones
Weather or visibility
Crowded environments
Safety concerns
Buyer assumes no guarantee of flight unless conditions allow.
9. Liability Limitations
Sinew Media is not responsible for:
Accidents caused by unsafe site conditions
Delays due to client preparation issues
Losses arising from the use of delivered media
Property damage not caused by our negligence
Our liability will not exceed the amount paid for the project.
10. Emergency Situations
In the event of injury, threat, or hazard, crew may suspend activity and evacuate the location. Rescheduling fees may apply unless circumstances are outside client control.
