Media Usage and Licensing

This policy outlines how clients may use media created by Sinew Media and how intellectual property rights are handled. Our aim is to support your marketing efforts while protecting the creative work and legal integrity of our productions.

By commissioning services from Sinew Media, you agree to the terms below.

1. Copyright Ownership

All photos, videos, digital assets, and creative materials produced by Sinew Media remain the property of Sinew Media unless otherwise stated in writing.

You receive a license to use the content, not ownership of the underlying files.

2. Standard Usage License

Included in all real estate packages

The standard license grants the client the right to use delivered media for:

• MLS listings

• Property marketing and advertising

• Social media promotion for the listing agent

• Brokerage website features

• Property information packages

• Third-party listing services approved for real estate use

This license is tied to a single property address and its active marketing period.

3. Restrictions

The following uses are not permitted under the standard license:

• Use by builders, developers, designers, or architects unless licensed separately

• Use for long-term brand promotion

• Publication in magazines, commercial print media, or large-scale advertising

• Resale or transfer of media to third parties

• Modifying or re-editing the media without consent

• Use after the property has sold, expired, or been reassigned to another agent

If a new agent acquires the listing, a license transfer fee may apply.

4. Extended / Commercial Licensing

Extended or commercial licensing is required for:

• Builder, developer, or interior design firm marketing

• Portfolio use by construction or staging firms

• Long-term brand use for agents or brokerages

• Editorial, magazine, or press features

• Billboards, print ads, or paid advertising campaigns

• Corporate websites and brand campaigns

Extended licensing quotes are available upon request.

5. Third-Party Use

Media may not be shared with, transferred to, or used by third parties without written permission, including:

• Contractors

• Designers or stagers

• Rental platforms

• Media platforms outside listing use

• Marketing agencies

• Other real estate agents

Unauthorized use may incur retroactive licensing fees.

6. Editing and Modifications

Client may request edits through Sinew Media.
Unauthorized alteration, filters, AI manipulation, or distortion of media is not permitted unless approved.

7. Social Media Sharing

Social media sharing is encouraged when:

• The media is posted by the client or brokerage, and

• Sinew Media is credited where appropriate

8. Duration of License

The standard real estate license is valid for the duration of the listing period.
Licenses for long-term brand use or commercial purposes are issued separately.

9. Portfolio Usage by Sinew Media

We may use delivered work for:

• Portfolio and website displays

• Social media and marketing

• Advertising and client samples

Private or embargoed projects can be accommodated with prior agreement.

10. Enforcement

Unauthorized use may result in:

• Retroactive licensing fees

• Removal requests

• Legal action if necessary

We prefer clarity and fair cooperation over conflict. Reach out if unsure about usage.
